IVC Evidensia are excited to present a new development – a purpose-built veterinary referral hospital in the south of Birmingham.

Previously IVC Evidensia have been known for the acquisition of referral centres, but this new development, a first for us will be a new specialist-led referral hospital offering state-of-the-art equipment and multiple referral disciplines.

A dedicated veterinary referral hospital

The hospital itself will provide veterinary referrals only, and a 24 hour emergency care service for pet owners in the local area. The site has easy access from the A38 through Longbridge and is part of the West Longbridge regeneration project. We are also planning to include several green and wellbeing initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, solar panels and extensive landscaped green space for clients and staff to use. We expect this hospital to open late in 2023.

At the new site, we are planning to house:

  • Intensive care unit
  • Oncology treatment area
  • State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging suite
  • Large operating theatres
  • On-site laboratory
  • Dedicated emergency and critical care space (for out of hours service)
  • Feline friendly waiting area and consult rooms
  • Rehabilitation suite

Plus many more facilities.
