Our people are at the very heart of everything we do. That’s why we have fostered a culture of empowerment and collaboration to provide the platform for our teams to reach their potential. We value the contributions of each individual across our global network, and the vital role they play in our mission to make animals healthy and owners happy.
We are united by our unique values which infl uence our decisions, our interactions with our clients, and how we support each other. Our Graduate Academy is testament to our commitment to providing a culture of continuous development and shared experience.
We know that working in the veterinary profession is not simply a job but a vocation, and that the shared experience, connection, and friendships means it’s more than a career path. That’s why we offer a collective learning experience for our graduates, including our Graduate Academy Congress.
The annual two-day Graduate Congress event is a fantastic opportunity to build lifelong connections with fellow graduates, share knowledge, and have a good time. You’ll benefi t from a wide range of sessions and panel discussions, and enjoy an immersive experience with senior vets from across IVC Evidensia and beyond. You can decide between dedicated small animal, farm, or equine streams – or a combination of these.
Whichever option you choose, we've designed a blended learning programme to help you pursue your chosen path. You’ll receive in-person development, engaging online content, and the support within your practice and new role that you need to be the best you can be.
You'll also benefi t from structured formal learning as well as practical experiences, mentorship, and discussions with colleagues.

Plus, our Congress offers you the chance to engage with colleagues from across the network.
Vet starting salaries vary. From 2026, our graduate salaries start at £36k (40hrs per week) pro rata and are combined with a competitive benefi ts package.
We continually assess and enhance our graduate pay structures to ensure they remain competitive. Graduate scheme salaries are reviewed based on market data, and we aim to provide a financially rewarding start to your career.
We have a broad banding approach to pay for all our team members, allowing flexibility based on location, performance, and individual contribution. This approach ensures fair compensation and supports salary progression alongside career progression. Graduates completing the IVC Evidensia Graduate Academy scheme will transition to the vet pay band, with all the opportunities for salary growth aligned with your skills and experience that entails. All team members also benefit from our annual salary reviews.
In addition to this, you'll get 6.6 weeks of annual leave (including your birthday off as paid leave), professional memberships covered, and a range of rewards and benefits, including discounted pet care.
We care about the wellbeing of our team members, both human and animal, so you'll have access to your individual fund of £1250 as part of the IVC Evidensia Care Fund, to support pets and owners in financial need.
