South Lincs Vets are looking to speak with clinicians with a passion for Cardiology to join their fantastic Advanced Practitioner-led team. You will join a wealth of longstanding staff with certificates in ECC, surgery, orthopaedics, dermatology, internal medicine, ophthalmology. Kitted out with an extensive lab, excellent imaging including CT.
The hospital has recently been extended and is well equipped with top class imaging (digital x-ray, CT scanner, ultrasound, video endoscope including laparoscopic kit), a wide range of surgical equipment, four sterile theatres, dental x-ray, ECG, tonopen and slit lamp, Class 4 laser, extensive lab including EPOC, spacious dog and cat kennels and a large isolation area. There are seven consulting rooms.

You will deliver advanced veterinary care within a referral setting, managing complex cases and providing clinical advice and support to referring veterinary practices.
You’ll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team to deliver outstanding patient and client care, while also supporting the development of colleagues through mentoring, supervision, and knowledge sharing. You’ll contribute positively to the efficient running of your service and play an active role in maintaining high clinical standards and continuous improvement.
You are an experienced veterinary surgeon with strong clinical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality referral-level care. You’ll bring:
A Veterinary degree with RCVS registration, and Advanced Practitioner status
An interest in Diagnostic Imaging proving beneficial.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with referring vets, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising colleagues
A commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement
