We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Blaise Veterinary Referrals as a Medicine & Cardiology Veterinary Nurse on a full-time basis.
Blaise Veterinary Referrals is a leading multidisciplinary referral hospital, offering a collaborative and progressive environment where clinical excellence and patient care are at the heart of everything we do. This role sits within our Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, and Imaging services, providing an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled specialist team.
You will be working alongside experienced clinicians and nurses, supporting a wide range of complex medical cases and advanced diagnostics. With access to state-of-the-art equipment including CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and echocardiography, this is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a true referral setting.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider referral team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of complex medicine and cardiology cases from admission through to discharge. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service, supporting advanced diagnostics, and maintaining the highest clinical standards.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will be involved in managing hospitalised patients, supporting diagnostic work-ups, assisting with procedures, and monitoring patients undergoing sedation and anaesthesia. You will also act as a patient advocate, ensuring welfare is prioritised and subtle clinical changes are recognised and addressed.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across a 4-day working week, with shifts typically between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Some flexibility may be required to support the needs of the service.
