Discover a world of opportunity at Pride Veterinary Referrals
We have an exciting opportunity within our nursing team at Pride Veterinary Referrals for a Referral Theatre Nurse to join us on a full-time basis.
Working within a group of skilled and passionate anaesthetists and nurses, you will regularly work closely with specialist referral clinicians from a range of disciplines such as surgery, medicine, ophthalmology and neurology. On a day-to-day basis, we interact fully with the anaesthetists, providing anaesthesia and sedation for other services. Despite working within such a big team, we succeed in maintaining a friendly and supportive ethic. We are passionate about providing a gold standard of care. You will see a varied caseload of routine and emergency cases from the soft tissue, orthopaedic, neurology and ophthalmology services. You will carry out a mixture of anaesthesia and theatre work and play an integral part in ensuring the department runs efficiently. You will be supported by our experienced and knowledgeable nurses and anaesthetists to allow you to develop your referral nursing skills.
We are committed to providing outstanding development opportunities to our RVNs, and we will always encourage and support our team in pursuing further qualifications.
