Find Your Passion
Our family at Vale Vets and Referrals is vibrant and flourishing. Comprising a team of 40 RVNs, SVNs, and hospital assistants, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals. Many of our RVNs hold advanced diplomas and certificates, and they are enthusiastic about providing support and learning opportunities to newer team members. We prioritise development, actively supporting and encouraging our team in pursuing advanced qualifications and other CPD courses. Embracing a no-blame culture, we value every voice and consistently explore ways to improve our work.
To foster growth and excellence, we engage in regular team meetings, discussions on critical events, cash debriefs, and biannual 1-2-1 meetings.
Our recent hospital expansion has given us brand-new facilities, including 5 state-of-the-art theatres, a medicine suite equipped for ultrasound and endoscopy, a dedicated dental room, an x-ray room, spacious ward areas (complete with a separate cat ward and treatment room), and even a separate exotics ward. As if that's not enough, we also have an on-site CT scanner.
A True Work-Life Balance
This is a full-time position. The shifts are based on a 40-hour-a-week rota, working 5x 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break. However, we are flexible at working to find the best rota and work-life balance for you so are keen to explore different working options. The role involves 1:8 weekends with time off in lieu and minimal weekday on-call duties.
What You Will Bring to Our Team
We are looking for dynamic individuals who are keen to progress their nursing knowledge and skills within a busy and fast-paced environment. If you enjoy a varied caseload with no two days being the same, this would be a great role for you.
Although advantageous, previous referral experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
