As we continue to grow, we're seeking a passionate and dedicated Rotating Nurse to join our team on a part time basis. We offer flexibility in our shift patterns to ensure a healthy work-life balance, ideally covering 30-35hrs per week. We understand the value of your expertise and commitment, which is why we offer industry-leading salaries, ranging from approximately £29,000-£34,000 pro-rata per annum, in line with your level of experience. 

As a Rotating Nurse at Swift Referrals, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care. You will collaborate closely with our clinical team to support and advance our referral services, including Soft Tissue & Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine and Advanced Imaging. Your responsibilities will span from patient admission to discharge, ensuring the highest standard of care throughout the entire patient journey. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects across our surgery, internal medicine and wards teams - including imaging, theatre preparation, anaesthesia monitoring, wards nursing including complex care of critical patients, lab diagnostics, rehabilitation and client support. Flexibility is essential, as we encourage our entire team to be versatile and assist across all disciplines and with emergencies as needed. We are also fully supportive of special interests, so would also like to hear from RVNs looking to specialise in a certain area as we may be able to accommodate this in our rota.  

Opened in 2019 and purpose-built to industry leading standards, Swift Referrals is a multidisciplinary referral hospital offering the very best in veterinary excellence, all under one roof. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, neurology, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, housing world-class facilities on our premises from advanced imaging machines to specialist treatment and aftercare rooms. We have 1.5T Siemens MRI scanner, 128 Slice GE CT scanner, doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy and state-of-the-art operating theatres, and separate dog and cat wards. We also have a dedicated ECC and OOH centre which houses a large ICU for our critical patients. This is a part-time position, worked over a 3 day working week averaging 30-hrs/week. Shifts will fall between 7:30am-8:00pm, depending on rotation. We have a 1:4 weekend rota which is supplemented with time off in lieu. While we have a dedicated out-of-hours team, you may be asked occasionally to assist with holiday or sickness cover if needed. Flexibility requests will be considered and accommodated wherever possible in the interest of supporting a healthy work-life balance for our team.
