We are excited to be taking applications for this 12-month internship starting on the 28th September 2026, it is suitable for recent graduates or veterinary surgeons with general practice experience. Interns rotate through Internal Medicine/Cardiology, Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, with the option to choose additional elective rotations.
The programme provides a strong foundation for further discipline-specific training or for building confidence in clinical case management across a diverse caseload.
As a Rotating Intern, you will:
Actively engage in all rotations, working closely with senior clinicians and specialists.
Conduct examinations, support diagnoses, and develop treatment plans under expert supervision.
Assist in surgeries, procedures, and emergency cases, gaining hands-on experience across multiple disciplines.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive, compassionate patient care.
Participate in seminars, journal clubs, workshops, and research opportunities to support continuous professional development.

A veterinary degree recognised by the RCVS.
RCVS registration (or eligibility to register).
Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available for overseas applicants).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
A proactive and adaptable approach to learning.
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Professional Costs Covered: VDS and RCVS registration fees

Hands-On Experience: Active involvement in out-of-hours emergency care with primary case responsibility under supervision
Diverse Caseload: Exposure to a wide range of cases across multiple rotations
