Our team currently includes:
One experienced part-time Veterinary Surgeon
Three Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)
Two Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) who are soon to qualify
Three Client Care team members, one of whom also works as an Animal Care Assistant (ACA)
A dedicated Practice Manager
A mix of consultation and surgery days
Working closely with the Practice Director and wider team
Building strong relationships with our loyal clients
Working cases up in-house where appropriate
Providing continuity of care and following cases through

Orby Vets is a well-established small animal practice located in the picturesque village of Orby, just outside Skegness. With the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds and the Lincolnshire coastline nearby, this role offers the opportunity to combine rewarding clinical work with a fantastic work–life balance in a scenic rural setting.
Established nearly 40 years ago, Orby Vets has built an excellent reputation within the local community for delivering high-quality veterinary care while always putting patients and clients first.
We are now looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team.
About the Practice
We are a busy first-opinion small animal practice with a loyal and growing client base, seeing a varied caseload including dogs, cats, rabbits and other companion animals.
Our practice is RCVS Core Standards accredited and we actively support both the Vet GDP programme and RVN training, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining high clinical and professional standards.

Meet the Team
We are a small but highly supportive and experienced team.
Many of our colleagues have been part of the practice for a long time. Three of our RVNs and one member of the client care team have been with us for over 10 years, while other team members have been here for four to five years, creating a stable and supportive working environment with strong client relationships.
