Come and join our team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team in sunny Eastbourne. We are ideally looking for a vet with experience and a keen interest in surgery and a desire to mentor and teach others.

You will enjoy a varied caseload across our three practices, a mix of consulting and surgical time and be part of a collaborative team of clinicians all working together to deliver the best possible patient and client experience.
Our team of vets bring a variety of interests and experience and include certificate holders. We are always keen to support further development through the funding of post graduate qualifications, CPD and investment in equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with a surgical bias and or another preferred area of interest. We believe in supporting our clinicians to do the job they love.

Typically, our Vets work a 3 or 4-day week rota with 1:4 Saturdays and no Sunday, night or bank holiday work. Our working pattern is flexible, and we are open to discussing what works for you.

Find a place to excel

Eastbourne Vets is made up of 3 branches, one main hub and two smaller surgeries. We have a fully equipped theatre, kennels for inpatients, digital X ray and dental X ray. Diagnostic imaging is also covered with an ultrasound scanner equipped with cardio and abdominal probes and we have a fully equipped laboratory for blood diagnostics.
Our unique selling point is quality care. We focus on delivering a high-quality service, with an individual approach.
We are located on the South Coast with beautiful beach walks just 5 minutes from practice. 10 minutes by car from us is Beachy head with its beautiful cliffs and amazing views. We are a prime location for countryside enthusiasts but also those who love the town life with Eastbourne’s vibrant arts and café culture. Excellent train links to Brighton (20 minutes), London (1hr) and London Gatwick airport (45 minutes) are all within easy direct train links.

What we hope you bring to us

Like our existing team, we hope you are a proactive, positive, and enthusiastic character with a willingness to work collaboratively. You should have excellent bedside manner for both our patients and clients. You should be eligible for RCVS registration and have or be eligible for right to work in the UK.
