At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.

Wilton House Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and highly collaborative team in a senior capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident clinician looking to take the next step in their career, combining a varied and rewarding caseload with the opportunity to influence clinical standards, support colleagues, and help shape the future direction of the practice.

You'll be joining a supportive team that genuinely values collaboration, continuity of care, and high clinical standards. We encourage our vets to work cases up thoroughly and provide the freedom to pursue individual clinical interests, whether in surgery, medicine, dentistry, ECC, or another area of passion.

The caseload is diverse and engaging, with patients including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, and the occasional exotic species or backyard chicken. We aim to provide a balanced mix of consulting and surgery, while remaining flexible enough to accommodate individual strengths and interests. The practice also sees a broad surgical caseload ranging from routine procedures through to more advanced dentistry, orthopaedic cases, and emergency presentations, creating excellent opportunities for ongoing clinical development.

Practice Highlights

  • Senior clinical opportunity with the ability to influence standards, mentoring, and clinical direction
  • Diverse caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, exotics, and occasional poultry cases

  • Positive, team-focused environment where clinical excellence and wellbeing go hand in hand
