We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team at Sanders Vets in Cwmbran. Whether you’re newly qualified, returning to practice after a break, or an experienced vet seeking a new challenge, we’re keen to hear from you.
Our 100% small animal practice offers a varied and engaging caseload, excellent clinical support, and genuine opportunities for growth. You’ll enjoy a balance of consults and surgeries with the option to explore your own clinical interests.

A Role Tailored to Your Lifestyle
We value flexibility and understand that every vet’s needs are different. That’s why we’re open to:
Full-time (4 days/week) with 2 days of ops and 2 days of consults – 6:30pm finishPart-time hours – flexible and family-friendly to suit your scheduleSaturdays: 1 in 3 rota (9:00am – 12:00pm)No OOH and no bank holidaysOption to pick up additional locum shifts at our OOH partner, Vets Now in Newport

4 experienced Vets: - Cert holders in Feline Medicine and Ophthalmology (in progress)
- Advanced Practitioner status
- Special interests in Cardiology and Diagnostic Ultrasound
6 highly skilled RVNs: - Certs in Veterinary Consulting, Feline Medicine, Anaesthesia
- Working towards Feline Behaviour certs
- One is a qualified Dog Trainer
