The team at Woodside Veterinary Group is looking for a passionate veterinary surgeon to join us on a permanent basis. Based in the beautiful Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Woodside is a mixed practice serving traditional beef and sheep farms while also providing exceptional care for family pets across three sites. Our caseload is approximately 55% small animal, 40% farm, and 5% equine, offering a truly diverse and rewarding workload.
We provide opportunities for vets to develop specialised roles within the team based on individual interests. The workload includes routine farm care, smallholder support, and occasional equine work. OV qualifications are a plus, although TB testing is minimal in 4-year parishes. Equine work is minimal and consists mainly of vaccinations, teeth rasping, wound management, worm egg counts, gelding, passports, exports, and microchipping.
