We’re excited to welcome a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our large, supportive practice with five branches across the Isle of Man. This is a varied and rewarding role within a well-equipped, collaborative environment where you can focus on delivering high-quality small animal care while developing your clinical interests.

As part of our commitment to welcoming new team members, we offer a welcome bonus of 10% of your salary at the end of year one and a further 10% at the end of year two, up to a maximum of £10,000 total.

Hours & Flexible Working


We believe in the importance of supporting our team’s well-being, which is why we offer flexible rota patterns and working hours to fit your lifestyle, no matter where you are in your career. The full time position consists of 38 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days, with a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota and approximately 1 in 10 nights and weekends on call.

We are happy to consider part-time applications, although weekend and on-call availability is essential. Our aim is to work with you to find a rota pattern that supports both your personal commitments and your professional development.

Team & Facilities


You’ll be joining a talented and diverse team of 17 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 20 dedicated support staff, creating a genuinely collaborative and learning-focused environment. The team includes certificate holders in GP Cert SA Medicine and Cert AVP Sheep, a visiting cardiology specialist, and colleagues currently pursuing certifications in ophthalmology, exotics, and postgraduate studies, offering excellent mentorship and development opportunities.

Your working week will include a mix of consulting, surgery, and emergency and critical care, primarily based at our main branch. We are committed to ongoing investment in our facilities and equipment, enabling us to manage a wide range of cases in-house, with off-island referral options available where needed. Our nurses play a key role in the practice, running their own clinics including health checks, post-operative care, vaccinations, and wellness appointments. We also work closely with Curraghs Wildlife Park, offering opportunities to be involved in the care of a unique range of species.
