An exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon at Framlingham Vets! We are looking for a competent surgeon with an interest in medical cases and an all-round general practitioner who is looking to progress in their career.
Why are we not just another job advert? We are people and patient focused, we prefer a meeting to an email, involve our team in decisions where we can, and we understand that veterinary practice life is a constantly evolving discussion.
How do we do this?
We work to a high standard of patient and client care that is evidence based and endeavour to provide a patient first service, ensuring that our care is suited for each client and each budget. We work over two branches, have dental X-ray, dedicated operating theatres, diagnostic imaging suite, in house laboratory separate dog and cat ward.
We have a certificate holder in ophthalmology who is more than happy to be passed all your scary eye cases. Large reception areas and an excellent front of house team.
We would love to speak to those wanting full or part time shifts to cover between 20 and 40 hours a week. Flexible working to fit in with school hours or other commitments would be seriously considered for this role for the right candidate. 1:4 Saturdays recovered as TOIL the following Friday, so you get a lovely long weekend! No out of hours work required. Our rota is fixed several months in advance (unless in exceptional circumstances), and you will generally only work at one site per day.
Discover a place to grow
Our Framlingham branch is our main surgical base; consultations and Nurse clinics are also carried out here. We have all the usual toys including x-ray, dental x-ray, and ultrasound facilities. We have separate cat and dog kennels, dedicated theatre facilities, a spacious prep area and a separate dental suite. Saxon is mainly consult and nurse clinic based, although we do have facilities for admits and basic procedures at this site.
This is a beautiful part of Suffolk with plenty of lovely countryside of heathland and woodland, around the popular town of Woodbridge. The stunning Suffolk coast, and its fabulous beaches are a short drive away, all whilst being within an easy drive to London and Stansted airport. Framlingham itself, with its historic buildings, is home to Ed Sheeran's famous medieval 'Castle on the Hill' and the practice is a stones-throw from one of Ed's favourite pubs!
