We are looking for someone with a real passion for small animal work who can carry out routine surgeries, client consultations and work up cases with the full support of the wider team. We fully encourage CPD and further qualifications and pride ourselves in fostering a learning environment for all staff to be able to reach their full potential.
Find a work/life balance with a 4-day working week at Plymouth Vets
Our vets work up to 40 hours per week across a maximum of 4 days with a share of Saturdays or full weekends so there is opportunity to find a pattern that suits your needs. Breaks are also built into the rota throughout the day to allow time for callbacks and the follow-up of cases. Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, and that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. We can find flexible solutions to suit your needs and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career.
Find support and growth opportunities within our team
Our Vets are supported by a team of registered veterinary nurses, student veterinary nurses, animal nursing assistants and reception and admin staff as well as a dedicated overnight clinical team for our Out of Hours Service.
Our location
Plymouth is Britain’s Ocean City and presents excellent opportunities for land and water-based activities as well as a vibrant cultural scene, with good access to the Southwest or Europe. There are not many better cities in which to live and work so if you are looking to relocate, we can offer you full support with this too.
