Practice Highlights

You will work alongside 5 vets, 7 RVNs and 2 ANAs There are also 4 members of our reception and admin team. We are a RCVS accredited practice /student nurse training practice.
 
Equipment includes separate dental and imaging suite. digital x-ray ultrasound and inhouse laboratory. We are based on the edges of Manchester to one side and the beautiful Peak District to the other which means access to lots of things to do in your spare time
 

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. 

 

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

 

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a fully qualified veterinary Surgeon to join our team 3 days per week Monday, Thursday, Friday (Full time new/recently qualified considered.)
 
Our hours are 8am -6.30pm. Saturday morning shifts will be on a 1 in 4 rota 8am 11.45am. We do not work out of hours, Sundays or Bank Holidays

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
