Your Role at Abivale


This exciting part-time position offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle, working across 2-3 days a week (flexible on which days) and some weekend shifts. You’ll primarily be based at our Wallingford branch, with occasional weekend work at our Abingdon site.

In this role, you’ll work across a varied 1st opinion caseload, including GP consultations and surgeries, dentals as well as opportunities to develop your skills in your preferred area of expertise

With a visiting orthopaedic specialist and experienced colleagues—including a vet with a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine and another with a GP Certificate in Acupuncture—you’ll have fantastic clinical support.

Flexible Working with No OOH


We understand the importance of balance. There’s no out-of-hours work, thanks to our dedicated night team based at the Abingdon branch. Weekend commitments include 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every 7 weeks, plus some bank holidays on a rota basis.

If you’re relocating, we also offer on-site accommodation above our Wallingford branch to make your move as smooth as possible.
