Shaping the future – Support our community
We are proud to serve our rural farming community and we aim to support our pedigree beef and sheep farmers at the times they need us most. Supporting 2 of our practices in Moray, you will help us provide seamless and sustainable 24 hour cover to our clients and their businesses. Our aim is to turn the traditional on-call rota on its head by allowing our daytime Vets more time to focus on the routine cases and a standalone OOH vet will help provide balance and focus on night-time and weekend emergencies.
An exciting and diverse emergency caseload
We are looking for farm Veterinary Surgeons who are confident in farm emergencies to work and continue to develop our service. You will gain significant exposure to surgical obstetrics so this is a great opportunity for those surgically minded individuals. Developing relationships with clients and the local veterinary teams is essential, as is the ability to problem solve and work on your own. You will be on-call from the comfort of your own home and attending emergencies as and when needed. You will receive the perfect blend of pace with a higher number of calls during spring but quiet spells during the summer months allowing you to really maximise your downtime. Keith is the central point of the geographical area covered.
Work life balance - one week on, one weeks off

Rota patterns would consist of working from 6pm to 8am Monday to Sunday. With a shared one-week-on, one-week-off rota, you'll have flexibility and freedom.
Support our wider farm team and become an integral part of our emergency response team, where your contributions truly make a difference! We are delighted to offer assistance with visa expenses and relocation costs of up to £7,500 for this position.
