We are a proactive, progressive farm practice with a stimulating blend of dairy, beef, sheep and smallholder work (plus sporadic pig, poultry, camelid and gamebird work).

 

We also offer Flock Health Club, Beef Suckler Package, Beef AI service, DairyCo Mastitis control plan, bull and ram fertility testing, TotalVet dairy software, and Advanced Sheep Breeding services performing laparoscopic AI and Embryo Transfer.

 

The successful candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience in practice and will work 8-hour shifts across 5 days a week, with on-call nights and weekends equally shared. At present this is 1 in 7.

 

Cliffe Veterinary Group is a large mixed practice with dedicated Small Animal, Farm and Equine departments. We are at present located in Lewes, East Sussex just 10 miles from Brighton. We are moving this Autumn to newly refurbished offices/workspace at Laughton (just outside Lewes)

 

We have 8 farm veterinary surgeons, who are ably supported by 3 ATTs, 3 administration staff and a dispensary team. We encourage Certificates and at present have a Cert CHP, a CertAVP, and a further CertAVP in progress. If you are an experienced vet with enthusiasm for farm work and the ability to work independently, we would love to hear from you.
