About us

We’re a large and experienced clinical team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons supported by a skilled nursing and support team. We have certificate holders within the team in medicine, feline medicine and surgery. We’re also a very well-equipped practice with laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgery equipment, digital x-ray and dental x-ray systems, ultrasound including cardiac probe, endoscopes, therapeutic laser, slit-lamp/tonometer and in-house laboratory.

Working patterns

Ideally, we’re looking for someone to join us on part time hours, working 32 hours per week. The role would require 3 days per week, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays (09:00 – 17:00). There’s no out of hours or on call required in this role. 

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
