About Cedarmount

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our small animal only practice in Bangor, Co Down.

We are a long established, busy small animal, primarily first opinion practice, with a small referral component. Our veterinary team are all experienced clinicians and many have post graduate qualifications, giving us a wide range of experience to call upon for difficult or complex cases. We have a full RVN team who work well alongside our vet and VCA team to provide dedicated care for our patients. We have a wide range of diagnostic equipment, including DR digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopes.

We were the first clinic in NI to routinely offer laparoscopic surgery for spaying, liver biopsy etc. We manage most orthopedic and chronic pain cases in house, with various surgical options and regenerative medicine, and we have strong links with local referral practices for those cases where we need more specialised help.  Training in new techniques is encouraged and consideration can be made for interest in studying towards a post graduate qualification.

Near the picturesque shores of Belfast Lough, Bangor is one of Northern Ireland's most charming seaside towns. Located just 13 miles from Belfast, in County Down, Bangor offers a unique blend of coastal beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture. Its reputation as a premier destination for both locals and tourists alike is well-deserved, with something for everyone to enjoy, whether you're interested in outdoor activities, historical exploration, or simply relaxing by the sea.
