We’re looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team in Pinhoe, Exeter. Based in a busy village just outside the city centre, the practice offers the perfect balance of community feel with easy access to everything Exeter has to offer.

Our single-site practice has a close-knit, welcoming atmosphere, with a mix of long-standing team members and newer faces bringing great energy to the team. We’re well equipped and encourage clinical freedom, giving you the opportunity to manage your own caseload with support from nearby referral centres when needed.

You’ll be working alongside an experienced and dedicated nursing team who provide excellent day-to-day support, helping everything run smoothly.

We’re ideally looking for a vet with an interest in surgery to complement the team, and we actively support development through funded CPD, local learning opportunities and encouragement to pursue your clinical interests.

How You’ll Make a Difference 

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. 
 
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you. 
•    4 x 10 hour shifts however part time applications welcome 
•    1:3 Saturday mornings (8am-1pm)
•    No OOH

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring: 
 
•    A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS 
•    Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases 
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues 
•    A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development 
•    Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
