Our team prides itself on practising gold-standard medicine and surgery. We have several certificate holders within the team, and our Head Nurse also holds a Diploma. Through regular team and M&M meetings, we maintain strong communication, discuss cases openly and continuously review our processes in a positive, blame-free environment that encourages learning and improvement.

  • Dedicated dog, cat and exotic wards
  • Two operating theatres and an on-site laboratory
  • Digital X-ray suite with Bucky table and grid
  • Dedicated dental theatre and dental radiography
  • Mylab ultrasound with abdominal and cardiac probes
  • Laparoscopic equipment, endoscope and bronchoscope
  • Orthopaedic equipment, electrocautery and cryotherapy facilities
  • Air-conditioning throughout the hospital
  • On-site Vets Now service providing overnight inpatient care and ensuring timely finishes without patient transfers

    How You’ll Make a Difference

     
    As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
     
    You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
     
    This role includes consultations, surgery, dentistry, case work-ups and inpatient care.
     

    Working Pattern

  • 4 days per week
  • Average 40-hour week, with flexibility available
  • No out-of-hours requirements due to on-site Vets Now cover
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am – 12:00pm
  • No Sundays or bank holidays
  • Secure off-street staff parking

    You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
     
  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
  • Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
