At Mansion Hill Vets, our passion for delivering outstanding care to pets and their owners is at the heart of everything we do. If you’re looking for a veterinary role that offers clinical variety, professional growth, and the support of a friendly, close-knit team, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

A Practice Built on Teamwork and Trust

Our small but well-equipped practice is designed to help you deliver the best possible care. We have a welcoming reception area with separate cat and dog waiting spaces, three consult rooms, including one dedicated to nurse clinics, an operating theatre, prep area, and a separate X-ray room. Our facilities include ultrasound, dental X-ray, laparoscopic equipment, and all the tools you’d expect to support high-quality veterinary work.

You’ll enjoy a varied caseload, with a balance of consultations and surgeries involving cats, dogs, rabbits, and small furries. Routine procedures such as spays, castrates, lump removals, and dentals are a key part of our day, alongside any ECC case that keeps things interesting.

Collaboration That Makes a Difference

At Mansion Hill, teamwork extends beyond our own walls. You’ll be supported by an exceptional in-practice team including three RVNs, a VCA, two receptionists, and our practice manager, as well as a regular, reliable group of locums. Our nurses are highly skilled and hands-on, running their own clinics and playing an integral role in surgery and inpatient care.

We’re also part of a wider IVC Evidensia network, which means you’ll never feel isolated. We work closely with neighbouring practices, sharing knowledge, expertise, and guidance to ensure both our patients and team members get the best possible support. Whether you want advice on a tricky case or wish to develop a special interest, there’s always someone to collaborate with.

Flexibility That Fits Your Life

We understand that a great career should fit around a fulfilling life outside of work. We’re open to both full-time and part-time applications, with our full-time hours typically spread over four or five days. You’ll join our 1:3 Saturday morning rota (8:30am–12:30pm) and enjoy a role with no out-of-hours requirements, giving you plenty of time to recharge.

A Practice with Heart

Giving back to the community is something we value deeply. Our team works closely with charities such as Blue Cross, Cats Protection, and the RSPCA, helping to make a difference to animals beyond our own client base.

Life in Banbury
