At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
Welcome to Vermuyden Vets, a trailblazing small animal practice located in the heart of Goole. We've recently undergone a breath-taking transformation, expanding our small animal services, and setting the stage for even greater achievements. Our practice boasts cutting-edge facilities, including a digital X-ray system, ultrasound, and a full internal lab.
But that's not all! We've also formed a powerful partnership with Portland House Veterinary Group in Retford, granting us access to additional facilities and a team of experienced professionals.
Our tight-knit team currently consists of a part time exceptional small animal vet, who is supported by an outstanding group of ACAs and receptionists. We're not just colleagues; we're a family of passionate and friendly individuals who live and breathe veterinary care. Delivering first-class service to our clients and their beloved pets is our top priority. To ensure your well-being, we have a dedicated mental health first aider on hand. We know how to have a blast outside of work too! From lively pub quizzes to our legendary annual summer BBQ and even participating in adrenaline-pumping events like Tough Mudder, we know how to create unforgettable memories. Join us on this extraordinary journey where exceptional service and care are the norm!
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Get ready to embark on a fabulous new opportunity. As a part of our dynamic team, you'll be responsible for hands-on care of small animals, providing both routine and emergency healthcare in our newly refurbished practice.
Our full-time positions are usually 40 hours per week over 5 days but this can also be covered in 4 days, including a shared Saturday morning rota (don't worry, we'll make sure you get the time off you deserve). The best part? No more out-of-hours or on-call duty! We believe in work-life balance and offer flexible working patterns that adapt to your lifestyle. Whether you want to adjust your rota to conquer the school holidays, coordinate with the school runs, or find that magical balance between home and work life, we're here to make it happen. Your role will encompass a range of exciting responsibilities, from consultations and routine surgeries to client liaison and managing treatment plans. Get ready to unleash your potential and experience so much more!
