We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established first-opinion, small animal practice. You will be based at our branch in Totton with the option of also working at our Lyndhurst branch.

We are open to full and/or part time applicants. The full time position is typically, 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days with 1 in 5 Saturdays (with time off in lieu). We offer flexible working patterns that can be adapted to fit with you and your lifestyle.
Our practices
Our two sites, Totton and Lyndhurst are independently equipped with digital X-rays and ultrasound, in-house lab machines and dental radiography. Our Totton site holds a Silver Cat Friendly Clinic award.
Locality – South West Hampshire
Totton – lying between the New Forest National Park and the vibrant sea city of Southampton, Totton is well situated to meet all day to day living and recreational needs. Go a little further and the Jurrassic coasts of the Isle of Wight and the Dorset Purbecks make for a memorable day out.
Lyndhurst - 6 miles from Totton, Lyndhurst is the ancient capital town of the New Forest deep within the National Park yet still within easy reach of the coast and nearby towns of Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury.

We have a supportive team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 of whom hold certificates, one in Dentistry and the other in Radiography, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a Student Veterinary Nurse. Our very knowledgeable receptionists and dedicated practice manager will ensure that you have all the resources and support you need to excel in further your career (we are happy to support a certificate).
Our friendly and experienced team prides themselves on accessing the best and most appropriate care for pets and clients alike, and the role offers a good balance between consulting, operating and preventative healthcare. We offer 20-minute appointments for non-routines to facilitate optimum care .
