Salary up to £71,000 DOE FTE, up to £5,000 relocation allowance, 20% of first year annual salary FTE up to £10K paid on 1st and 2nd year anniversary of commencement of employment


We are looking for an experienced, passionate and dynamic individual to head up our small but dedicated Equine team on the idyllic Isle of Man! Whether you are currently working in a senior position or are looking to take the next big step in your career we want to hear from you. We have a large and varied Equine customer base, from happy hackers, competition horses, polo ponies and studs.

You will be responsible for leading an enthusiastic and collaborative team, shaping the future of equine veterinary medicine on the Isle of Man.

With a diverse workload, we see family ponies, high level competition horses, and everything in between. The role covers a wide range of duties including, but not limited to, thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for horses with a variety of conditions, routine procedures such as vaccinations, dental care, and ambulatory calls, and emergency and after-hours care as needed.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the existing provision of care to meet the increasing needs of our client base with access to modern equipment and local premises to provide both ambulatory and inpatient day work. The nature of the role will provide autonomy, teamwork and clinical freedom.
