Your next opportunity

Grahams Road Veterinary Clinic is a welcoming small animal first opinion practice located in the heart of the historic town of Falkirk. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit team on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in caring for pets across the central belt while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You’ll be part of a small team delivering high standards of clinical care, managing a varied first opinion caseload and building strong relationships with clients and their pets. Clinical duties include consultations and surgery, with vets operating on a rotational basis and dedicated surgical time built into the week. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, values continuity of care, and is committed to maintaining excellent patient and client outcomes.

Find your perfect work/life balance

We believe in the importance of supporting our team’s well-being, which is why we offer flexible rota patterns and working hours to fit your lifestyle, no matter where you are in your career.

This is a part-time role working between 12 and 25 hours per week across 2 to 4 days, with flexibility available to tailor the schedule around the right candidate. Our working day runs from 8:30am to 6:30pm, and we are happy to shape the working pattern wherever possible to suit individual needs. The role includes a 1 in 8 Saturday morning rota from 8am to 12pm, consulting only. There is no out-of-hours commitment and no on-call requirements, supporting a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
