The Rowe Veterinary Group is recruiting for a night nurse, who will join the team on a part time basis to cover maternity leave for around 9 months. You will be able to work in an enriching environment where you will use your nursing skills and assist in the high standard of care provided to a wide variety of cases.

This role will be different to from others as your focus will be on the triage of our emergency patients and appointments providing emergency care when needed. You will work closely with the other night nurse prioritising the patients and the emergencies that arrive. This position is maternity cover working Wednesday-Wednesday 6PM to 2AM, which is our busiest time for emergencies. You will work this pattern on a week on week off pattern, allowing for real flexibility and being able achieve an excellent work life balance.
The FTE salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience + benefits. You will work on average 28 hours per week which is a pro rata salary of £21,000 per annum. As part of IVC Evidensia we are supportive of staff should they wish to obtain additional locum work during their employment with us.

As part of the Emergency Veterinary Service, you will work alongside the rest of the dedicated EVS team, including another Veterinary Nurse covering the full night hours, night and twilight Veterinary Surgeons and a dedicated team of Care Assistants. At EVS the majority of our patients stay on site for the duration of their treatment. This provides a real opportunity for the team work up their own cases and allows case and patient continuity. The Emergency Veterinary Service works alongside the Rowe Veterinary Group, as well as providing OOH cover for numerous practices locally. You will also help to care for patients who are hospitalised by our Referral department in a variety of disciplines, including Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic, Soft Tissue, Oncology and Dentistry.
