Bishop Hendry and Edwards are looking for an enthusiastic part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. In this part time role, the successful candidate will carry out a varied day of consults, wellness screens, in house laboratory work, day inpatient care, insurance administration, assisting vets with surgery and diagnostic work.

Ideally, we’re looking for a candidate to work up to 30 hours per week. You’ll be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm with time off in lieu. There is no OOH or on call.
About Us
We have a great case load exposing you from the most routine of cases whilst also giving you the opportunity to carry well established nurse consults in our well-equipped practice. We are based in the lovely market town of Newport, Shropshire, in the heart of plentiful countryside and only a short drive from Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton. So many beautiful walks on our doorstop and lots of quirky bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the practice. Our practice has all the usual toys you should expect including digital x-ray, ultrasound, extensive lab suite & dental. We have dedicated theatre, imaging, and dental suites with separate patients’ wards. We are proud to be RCVS accredited.
About the Team and Culture
We are a 2 vet team, 1 with a certificate in Dermatology, 2 RVN's, 1 Student Vet Nurse and 1 senior VCA. Our practice would suit somebody who is looking for that next exciting move and wants to carry out nurse consults working within a supportive team
