Oakham Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and confident Night RVN to join our experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-equipped hospital offering 24-hour in-patient care, while benefiting from a structured rota that provides significant time off.
Role Details
This role focuses on overnight inpatient care within a busy hospital environment. You will work in close communication with the on-call Veterinary Surgeon, supporting patient care and ensuring high clinical standards are maintained throughout the night.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patientsAssisting with occasional required surgeries in liaison with the on-call vetManaging client communications, with phones diverted to VetsNow while some calls come directly to the practiceCleaning, restocking and preparing the hospital for the following dayCompleting relevant administrative dutiesThere are optional opportunities to undertake occasional day shifts to help maintain and broaden clinical skills, though this is not compulsory.
