We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Totton.

 

 

This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week. Your shifts will be over Monday to Friday including some 8am starts and some 7pm closes. Saturday is a 4-hour shift from 8.30am:12.30pm and it is usually a 1 in 5 rotation with time off in lieu. Day to day duties include theatre and prep-work, monitoring anaesthesia, inpatient care, laboratory work, phlebotomy, nurse consultations, assisting vets in consultations, prescription checking and assisting reception when required.

 

 

Totton has Silver Cat-Friendly status and is fully equipped with digital X-rays and ultrasounds, in-house lab machines and dental radiography.  We are ideally located, with just a minutes' drive from the New Forest and a short drive to the market town of Romsey. We are also located close to Southampton as well as easy travel to the coast.

 

 

Across out sites, we have a supportive team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 of whom hold certificates in Dentistry and Ultrasound, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a Student Veterinary Nurse. Our dedicated practice manager and supportive colleagues will ensure that you have all the resources and support you need to excel in your career (for example, we are happy to support a certificate).

Our team members at Totton include 4 Veterinary Surgeons (2 of whom hold certificates in dentistry and ultrasound), Practice Manager, Head Veterinary Nurse, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse and 5 Receptionists.
