At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Chestnut Vets on a full-time basis.
Chestnut Vets is a well-established and highly regarded small animal practice in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, offering a varied caseload from routine preventative healthcare to advanced medical and surgical procedures. Our purpose-built, single-site practice is fully equipped with digital imaging, ultrasound, endoscopy, an in-house laboratory, K-Laser, laparoscopic equipment, separate dog and cat wards, and modern dentistry facilities, allowing us to deliver exceptional patient care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team of 5 full-time and 4 part-time nurses. Our nurses are truly valued and encouraged to use their full range of skills, with opportunities across theatre, inpatient care, radiography, dentistry, laboratory work, and our popular nurse clinics. With a loyal client base, a supportive team, and a welcoming practice environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a practice where nurses make a real difference every day.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
