We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Grange Hill Vets on a full-time or part-time basis.

Grange Hill Vets is a friendly, bright and airy practice located on the outskirts of Lichfield, offering the perfect blend of city convenience and countryside tranquillity. Our rural setting, natural daylight and free on-site parking help create a positive and welcoming working environment.

As a small practice, we pride ourselves on our supportive team culture, where everyone works together to provide the best possible care for our patients. This is a varied and engaging role where you’ll be involved across nurse clinics, theatre, anaesthesia, consultations and pharmacy support.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

Full-time or part-time applications considered

Full-time: 36 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days between 8:15am and 7:00pm

Part-time: 25 hours per week, worked over 4 days between 8:15am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday

1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:45am to 2:45pm

General Responsibilities

Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload

Run consultations and nurse clinics, supporting preventative healthcare and client education

Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing

Assist with patient care, recovery and clinical workflow throughout the day

Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
