Come and join our team!
Here at Tern Vets, we are looking for a friendly Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team on a 6 month fixed-term contact. There is the option for this contract to potentially transform into a permanent arrangement. This role is purely focusing on small animals, and you'll be split between our two sites in Market Drayton & Newport.
Be part of something exceptional
Tern Vets was established over 100 years ago as a mixed practice in Market Drayton. Today we have our original site in this busy market town and a sister practice in the neighbouring town of Newport, Shropshire. Both buildings are purpose built and house a friendly team with a family feel.
We have well equipped consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres at each site, imaging suite with x-ray ultrasound and endoscopy, laparoscopic spay equipment, Tonopen and dental facilities.
North Shropshire has the advantage of being rural and beautiful, perfect for dog walking, horse riding, wild water swimming, mountain biking etc, whilst being within easy access of Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool, for night life, shopping, concerts and airports. The larger city of Chester and town of Shrewsbury are also an easy commute.
The rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days. There will be 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm with time off in lieu. There is no OOH or on call with this role.
