We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary nurse with a passion for teaching to join our team.
About the role
This is a term time only position to work alongside our student nurses to support, offer guidance and encouragement. Within this role you will be responsible for overseeing the student's training and ensuring they complete the required skills outlined in their nursing progress log.
Whilst this is a predominately clinical coach role you will also be assisting the current team with hospital inpatient care, theatre, Pharmacy and consult shifts.
Clinical coaches must have up-to-date knowledge of best practices, including attending regular standardisation courses and keeping their CPD records current.
You would also be responsible for co ordinating and booking in suitable work experience applicants and supporting them during their visit to the practice.
Working hours
The minimum requirement of hours would be 16.25per week. This would be 3 week days, 9am-2:00pm and 1:4 Saturdays (9am-2pm). We would be able to go up to a maximum of 5 hour days, 4 days per week plus 1:4 Saturdays. Total weekly hours of 21.25.
