We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Easipetcare on a part-time basis.

Our practice is home to a friendly and supportive team of 2.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 5 Receptionists, a Practice Director, and a Practice Manager. We benefit from a varied medical and surgical caseload, with exposure to orthopaedic, cardiac, soft tissue, and diagnostic imaging cases through collaboration with visiting specialist clinicians. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive team culture, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and ongoing professional development.

    • How You’ll Make a Difference

    As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

    You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

    Working Pattern

  • 32 hours per week
  • 4 days per week 8.5 hour shifts
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings with time back in lieu
  • 12 month fixed-term maternity cover

    • General Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinary surgeons with operations, diagnostics, and clinical procedures. 
  • Work collaboratively across clinical and front-of-house functions to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. 
  • Conduct nurse consultations, providing patient care, advice, and follow-up support to clients. 
  • Manage and dispense medications in accordance with practice protocols.

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
  • A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
