We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at White Cross Vets, Eccleshill on a full-time basis.
 
The practice currently employs 2 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 Client Care Advisors. We promote open dialogue and focus on supporting each other at work. Every decision related to the practice is made after consulting the team and gathering feedback from those involved.
 
We have a well-equipped clinical environment including dental radiography, digital radiography, a new ultrasound machine, an in-house laboratory, and an in-house Sedivue for urine analysis. We are also currently completing our ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic status.

    How You’ll Make a Difference

     
    As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
     
    You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
     

    Working Pattern

     
  • Full-time position of 37.5 hours per week
  • Shifts typically run from 08:30–16:30 or 11:00–19:00
  • 1 in 4 Saturday rota at the Stanningley branch (08:00–12:30)
  • Time off during the week provided in lieu of Saturday shifts
  •  

    General Responsibilities Include:

     
  • Monitoring and recovering surgical patients
  • Nursing inpatients
  • Carrying out a variety of nurse consults
  • Taking radiographs, including dental radiography
  • Running in-house laboratory tests
  •

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
