Shaw Veterinary Centre is a friendly, first-opinion small animal practice caring for the pets of Swindon. Our clinic is equipped with modern facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped theatre. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Shaw Veterinary Centre, you will be a key member of our clinical team, delivering high-quality care across medical and surgical nursing, inpatient care, and consultations. You’ll be supported to develop and apply your full skillset, including fear-free approaches, while contributing to the ongoing improvement of patient care.
Provide nursing care across a range of medical and surgical cases
Support consultations and procedures, assisting veterinary surgeons and colleagues
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to inpatients and surgical patients
Contribute to patient care planning and the development of clinical standards
Collaborate with the nursing and support team to ensure continuity and excellence of care

We’re looking for a confident, motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who thrives in a collaborative, supportive practice. You’ll bring:
RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
