We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Foxcotte Vets on a full-time basis. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for approximately 6 months.
 
Foxcotte Vets is a mixed practice with three recently refurbished branches located on the outskirts of Andover, offering excellent access to the countryside, London, the south coast, the West Country, and Wales. Our main Charlton practice is well equipped with five consulting rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, dedicated imaging facilities, two theatres, and purpose-built inpatient wards. Our team includes approximately 9 FTE vets, 6 qualified veterinary nurses, 1 student nurse, 3 Animal Care Assistants (ACCAs), and colleagues working across reception and animal care roles. We are a collaborative and supportive team and are looking to continue growing our nursing team as the practice develops.

    How You’ll Make a Difference

     
    As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
     
    You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
     

    Working Pattern

     
  • 40 hours per week
  • Variety of shifts between 7:30am and 7:00pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays
  •

  • Run nurse clinics and consultations

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
