Here at Homefield Road Vets, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. You will carry out general nursing duties including clinics, anaesthesia, and patient care. There is scope for individuals to develop their own area of interest and nurses are encouraged to make use of their skills. All levels of experience are considered, and RVN qualification is required.
We would love to welcome a Nurse on a full-time rota for 39.5 hours per week over 3.5 to 4 days; however, we are open to speaking to part-time candidates looking to fit their careers. The shift times are between 8 am and 7 pm, with a shared Saturday morning rota.

What we are looking for


We are looking for someone who is a good team player passionate about high clinical standards and first-class patient care and a good communicator. The candidate will need to be able to work well as a part of the team and we would welcome either an experienced nurse or someone at an earlier stage of their career.

Homefield Road Veterinary Practice opened in February 2009. It is a modern, comfortable, and welcoming surgery purpose-built to accommodate our customers and their pets.
The hospital has a full in-house lab, separate isolation, cat and dog wards and a separate orthopaedic theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

Our other branch is situated in the village of Hawkedon, Bury St Edmunds. We treat all domestic animals and have a dedicated equine clinic for our horse clients.

We have a fantastic, team of Vets, Nurses, and Support staff, that have a wide range of in
terests, and who provide support to each other whilst working within our busy clinics. Training and progression are greatly supported and many of the clinical staff hold or are working towards further qualifications, meaning we benefit from a wide range of specialities.

Our nurses enjoy lots of responsibility within the practice, and we utilise their skills in all areas of nursing.
