We are delighted to open applications for a Twilight Veterinary Nurse to join Rowe Veterinary Group at our purpose-built Veterinary Hospital in Bradley Stoke. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a 24-hour hospital environment, alongside dedicated referral clinicians, experienced RVNs and a committed out-of-hours team.

Role details
As part of our twilight team, you will provide high-quality nursing care across a wide range of first opinion and referral cases. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will support patients across multiple disciplines and play a key role in the smooth running of the hospital during the evening period.
Your responsibilities will include:
Covering nursing duties across prep, theatre, wards and imagingMonitoring anaesthesia and sedation for patients undergoing diagnostics, surgery and rechecksAssisting in theatreSupporting first opinion and referral cases, acting as a key point of contact for clients, including organising admissions and dischargesDelivering excellent inpatient care within our wardsSupporting the OOH team with admitting and stabilising emergency casesYou will gain exposure to orthopaedic, soft tissue, ophthalmology and internal medicine cases, working with advanced imaging facilities including MRI and CT.
Working pattern
Full-time hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 5pm to 2am, with a one-hour unpaid break.
There is a shared bank holiday rota, currently averaging two per year.
We are happy to consider part-time applications and flexible working requests.

What we’re looking for
We are seeking a confident and compassionate RVN who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospital setting. You should be comfortable supporting complex cases, confident in anaesthesia monitoring and motivated to deliver consistently high standards of care.
Experience in referral or emergency work would be advantageous, but is not essential for the right candidate with strong core nursing skills.
