1 in 5 weekends at our Whalley Range branch (Saturday 8:00am – 12:00pm, Sunday 9:00am – 11:30am)

Ashleigh Vets’ Exclusively for Felines clinic in Sale offers a unique opportunity to work in a dedicated feline-only environment. Since opening in 2023, the clinic has developed a loyal client base and a reputation for providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care tailored specifically to cats.

You’ll work alongside experienced veterinary surgeons and a friendly, supportive reception team in a busy but calm practice environment where patient welfare and client relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse in our feline-only practice, you will play a key role in delivering attentive, low-stress care to our patients while supporting excellent client relationships.

Working as the sole nurse in the clinic, you will have the opportunity to utilise your clinical skills fully while taking ownership of patient care and nursing consultations.

• Provide high-quality nursing care including anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care and theatre support

• Run nurse consultations including preventative healthcare and routine checks

• Monitor and care for hospitalised patients, ensuring excellent standards of welfare and comfort

• Work closely with veterinary surgeons to support medical and surgical procedures

• Contribute to maintaining a calm, cat-friendly clinical environment

• Work a 40-hour rota including a 1 in 5 weekend rotation at our Whalley Range branch

 

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

We’re looking for a confident and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working in a close-knit team and has a genuine interest in feline medicine.

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

• Experience in medical and surgical nursing including anaesthesia monitoring

• Confidence managing inpatient care and running nurse clinics

• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care

• The ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team member
