Here at Axe Valley Veterinary Practice we are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The position will include a range of nursing responsibilities such as Nurse Clinics, Anaesthetics, Inpatient Care and Laboratory work. We can be flexible for the right candidate and are happy to discuss 40 hours per week or less, full and part time applicants welcome. Our nurses usually work 8 hours per day, 3-5 days per week ranging from 7:00am to 7:00pm. This role will involved working across a combination of our branches. You will join our weekend on-call rota, at our Blackford branch; 8:30am-1:00pm Saturday and 8:30am-10:30am on Sunday, weekends include being on call until 7:00pm.

The practice is well equipped and have extensive diagnostic and clinical tools including endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography (including dental radiography), in-house laboratory and much more!
Our Team
Join our friendly and supportive team, based in rural Somerset! We currently have 12 Veterinary Surgeons, including 1 Medicine Certificate holder and 2 Surgical, and 1 Medicine and Exotics certificates nearing completion. 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 4 Animal Nursing Assistants and 18 Support Staff!
