We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Manor Vets on a part-time basis, with opportunities to increase to full-time hours across other Manor sites. 

Manor Vets is a well-established, multi-site small animal practice located across the West Midlands, on the outskirts of Birmingham. With excellent transport links into the city centre and beautiful surrounding areas such as Kinver, Clent Hills, and the Lickey Hills, we offer a great balance of accessibility and lifestyle.

Across our six branches, we provide a high standard of care supported by advanced facilities including CT, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ECG, and in-house laboratory equipment. Our large and experienced team includes 24 Veterinary Surgeons, 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Nurses, Veterinary Auxiliaries, and a dedicated support team, with certificate holders across a wide range of disciplines including exotics, surgery, cardiology, and internal medicine.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. 

 

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. 

This is a varied role working between our exotics branch and other small animal sites, offering a unique opportunity to develop your skills in exotic species alongside a diverse first opinion caseload. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing including inpatient care, anaesthesia, surgery, and consultations.

This role is based on 27 hours per week, with shifts between 7:00am and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday. There is a 1 in 3 Saturday rota (8:00am–12:30pm), no out-of-hours requirement, and bank holidays are covered on a rota basis. Full-time hours may be available by working across additional Manor sites.
