Gatehouse Vets are looking for an Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their close-knit team at their Bingley branch.
The Next Step in Your Career
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for carrying out general nursing duties within the practice, including conducting nurse appointments. You will assist with the admission and discharge of patients, administer treatments such as injections, medications, and dressings, and dispense medication as prescribed by the veterinary surgeon. We are proud to offer a varied caseload, including orthopaedics and some exotic cases, as we have a few Veterinary Surgeons currently completing certificates in these areas.

Gatehouse Vets is a fantastic three-site group offering excellent facilities, including digital X-ray, in-house lab equipment, dental X-ray, an operating theatre, dedicated cat ward, and dog kennels. As a training practice, all our surgeries are part of the Practice Standards Scheme, consistently achieving outstanding awards.
We are committed to personal development, with a Veterinary Surgeon holding a certificate in feline medicine and another with a Fear Free certificate. We actively encourage further development and provide support for additional qualifications. Our experienced nursing team also holds certificates in Emergency and Critical Care, Advanced Feline Nursing, Dentistry, and Exotics.
Working Hours
We are looking to cover 40 hours and are open to both full-time and part-time applications. The role requires availability for some evening shifts. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, with one Saturday morning (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM) every four weeks. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities for this position.
