We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Oban Vets on a permanent basis. Our nursing team comprises of RVNS, SVNs & VCAs. Day-to-day duties include nurse consultations, theatre nursing, inpatient care and liaising with the other teams within the practice. 

Oban Vets is a mixed practice, who strives to deliver exceptional first opinion care to a diverse range of animals including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and exotics, alongside farm and equine. Our practice is situated in the vibrant heart of Oban, a rural, holiday town on the west coast of Scotland. Oban is perfectly located for access to the mountains, highlands, and islands. Suiting an individual who loves the outdoor lifestyle. Our diverse team comprises 7 FTE Vets, 4 RVNs, an SVN, supported by VCAs. The full time rota for this position would be 40 hours per week over 5 days, varying shifts between 8am - 5pm, 8:30am - 5:30am, and 9am - 6pm. There is no weekend or out of hours requirement. Voluntary whatsapp group for out of hours support, where £150 payment would be made for attending. We are open to speaking to candidates looking for part time / flexible working hours.
