We are looking for a motivated and caring Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a maternity cover basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Based in Carlisle on the edge of the Lake District, the practice offers an excellent lifestyle alongside a rewarding clinical role. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in a 1-in-4 on-call rota. This includes a Saturday morning shift from 08:30 to 12:00. Out-of-hours work and Saturday morning shifts are paid in addition to the standard salary.
