Catley Cross Vets is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivating nurse to join our team full-time. This role will encompass all aspects of first-opinion practice, ranging from theatre to nurse consultations, dispensary, and peri-operative care. We are looking for a candidate who is keen to be involved in all areas of practice, supporting the team while continuing to provide a high level of patient and client care. This is currently a fixed-term 12-month maternity contract. 

We are a large small animal and equine practice based in Halstead, Essex. You would be joining a well-established team of 6 nurses with varying years of experience, to work alongside supporting our 4 vet small animal team. Our wider team also consists of dedicated receptionists and animal care assistants. 

The working rota for this role consists of 40 hours over a 5-day week. You would also be required to participate in a 1 in 6 Saturday shift (8:00 am-4:00 pm).
